Based in Conroe, Texas, we serve Houston, Montgomery County, Harris County, and surrounding areas within a 100-mile radius. We regularly take on roofing projects from Palestine to Point Comfort, Bastrop to Beaumont, and many places beyond. Our Roofing Company’s History
Serving Houston Since 2000
Engineered Roofing Systems (ERS) began as Energy Coating Systems, a division of D&M Builders in Conroe, Texas. The company originally focused on roof coatings and maintenance for commercial properties. From the start, the goal was to provide dependable service, quality work, and long-lasting roofing solutions.
As the business grew, ERS expanded its services. It evolved into a full-service industrial roof contractor offering new construction, re-roofs, repairs, and long-term maintenance programs. Although the company rebranded as Engineered Roofing Systems, many longtime clients still call us Energy Coating Systems. Both names reflect our history and reputation for quality and trust.
In 2025, we refreshed the logo design by adding a bold red-orange accent. This update shows our growth and strength in the construction industry. Today, ERS proudly serves clients across Texas. No matter which name people use, our commitment remains the same: honest communication, expert service, and roofing systems built to last.
